Pony Playgroup & Playtimes

Description

A small group of children will have an hour of playtime in a paddock of ponies after short safety guidelines are taught. Participants may choose to brush, snuggle, or whisper hopes and dreams into sweet pony ears. 

As they play they have the opportunity to learn more about basic horse safety, horse anatomy, grooming, mucking and leading. At the end of each playtime every interested child will take a short bareback ride around the paddock. 

Children will grow in their social skills as well as deepen their joy, peace & confidence through routine access to equines, other farm animals and a community of friends.

One accompanying adult is free and welcome to observe, encourage, help their child and take unlimited photos.  Please inquire if you wish to add a second adult.  We appreciate limiting distractions and additional spectators for the comfort of our animals and other participants.

Pony Playgroups

There are 3 one-hour playtimes total in each Pony Playgroup session. These are usually scheduled on the same day/time each month. These may be purchased on the website.

Pony Playtime

You can also purchase a single playtime ($45). We understand that your schedules may not always allow for participation in all three Pony Playgroup dates.
